Miss a day.
Keep your progress.
Varas is a habit tracker for iPhone that keeps your streak alive when life gets in the way. A miss costs a few points. Showing up wins them back.
Coming soon to the App StoreiPhone, iOS 17 or later. No account. No ads.
Streaks are brittle. Varas isn't.
One bad day shouldn't erase months of work. Varas looks at the whole picture instead of a single number that snaps back to zero.
Consistency Score
Every habit gets a score from 0 to 100%. Miss a day after a long run and you'll drop a few points, not all of them.
Forgiving streaks
Your streak survives one missed day in a row. Skip a day on purpose (sick, travelling) and it counts as neutral.
Days since
Quitting something? Count the days you've been free. A slip restarts the count, and your best run is kept.
Your habits
Every habit on its own schedule.
Not everything happens every day. Pick the rhythm that fits, and the days off never count against you.
- Every day, or certain days of the week
- A number of times a week, like three
- Every few days
- Dates of the month, like the 1st and 15th
Change a schedule later and the past keeps the rules it had at the time.

Consistency Score
See how it's really going.
Each habit has a ring that shows how consistently you've shown up lately. Recent days count the most, so it can always move, up or down.
Open a habit to see its score, current and best streak, days shown up, the next milestone and a chart of consistency over time.
Forgiving streaks
Life happens. We know.
Your streak survives one missed day in a row. Two in a row end it, and the score still barely flinches.
Skip a day on purpose and it's neutral: no penalty, no broken streak. Missed one by accident? Tap "I did it", or add a reason and move on.
Missed walk yesterday? Your streak is safe at 10.

Quit something, gently.
Counters for the things you're giving up sit right beside your habits. See how many days you've been free, your best run and how many slips you've had.
A slip isn't the end. Log it, the count restarts from today and your best run stays.
Widgets
Right there on your Home Screen.
A small widget shows one habit with its streak and 14-day heatmap. A medium one shows three side by side.
Tap a badge to complete a habit, tap again to undo. Tap the arrow for the next ones.

Reminders
A nudge, not a nag.
Set a time for any habit. Pull down on the reminder, even on the lock screen, and it opens a card where you can hold to complete.
Not today? Say so, pick a reason and skip it. Done, skipped and off-schedule days never get a reminder.

Some things are just yours.
Mark any habit as private. Its name and emoji show as "Private habit" with a lock on the home screen, in widgets and in notifications.
Opening it needs Face ID or your passcode.

Questions
Short answers. More on the support page.
What is the Consistency Score?
A number from 0 to 100% for each habit that shows how consistently you have shown up lately. Recent days count the most. A miss costs a few points and showing up wins them back, so nothing ever resets to zero.
Does missing a day break my streak?
Not one day. Your streak survives one missed day in a row. Two in a row end it. Skipped days, and days a habit is not scheduled, never break it.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no sign-in, and Varas does not send your data anywhere.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. You can back it up to a file and keep that in iCloud Drive or Files, and export your history as CSV.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
